Demolition approved

The Kernersville Board of Aldermen accepted a bid for the demolition of a building and delayed consideration of a resolution to approve a lease with Forsyth County for the Forsyth County Recycling Center, located at 455 Lindsay Street in Kernersville at the Dec. 12 meeting at the Kernersville Municipal Chambers.
A house located at 511 Clubb Road in Kernersville was approved for demolition on Aug. 30, 2023. Town Manager Curtis Swisher explained why the Town wants the house demolished and the actions of board. For more, see the Thursday, December 21, 2023 edition.
