New buyer for Bill & Leah’s

Bill & Leah’s Ice Cream Cafe, located at 265 W. Mountain Street in Kernersville, will be under new management soon and will have a new name; however, the menu will not change.
Bill & Leah’s operated successfully for numerous years in Kernersville before Clinton and Leah Melton sold the property to Mickey’s Cafe. Shortly after Mickey’s Cafe closed, Clinton and Leah Melton bought the 0.52 acre tract of property and the 2,836 square foot building back for $809,000 on Sept. 22, 2022. Bill & Leah’s then went back into operation with the same management and most of the same employees.
