Yellow sites purchased

XPO, Inc. has purchased 28 former Yellow sites for a combined total of $870 million. Among the sites sold is a former Yellow location at 1255 Hwy 66 South with 71.13 acres. XPO has an existing terminal in Kernersville at 438 West Bodenhamer Street. Yellow Corp. announced it would be filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in a statement that was issued on August 6, 2022. The Yellow Corp. facility in Kernersville had an estimated 145 employees.
