TedderMrs. Betty Jean Cox Tedder, 87, passed away August 25, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 26, 1928 in Forsyth County to the late Ralph Cox and Anna Horah Cox. Mrs. Tedder was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She attended Mineral Springs School and Retired from Luci, Inc. with 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Jean Wood; a grandson, Jeffery Scott Dinkins; three sisters, Alice, Virginia, and Sarah; four brothers, Clarence, George, Frank, and Jim. Mrs. Tedder is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, James E. Tedder; a son, Mark A. Tedder; a daughter, Robin L. Pettitt and husband Robert; six grandchildren, Angie Johnson and husband Blake, Traci Fulp, Wayne Pettitt and wife Melanie, Tammy Denny and husband Scott, Bobby Everhart and wife Vicki, and James A. Tedder; a grand daughter-in-law, Beverly Dinkins; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph and Bob Cox and a sister, Nita Newbury. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at 11:00am, Monday, August 29, 2016 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall.
