For those wondering when the Kernersville Board of Aldermen will revisit the issue regarding amending the Town’s noise ordinances or who thought it might be on last week’s meeting agenda, look for the matter to possibly be back before the aldermen later this month.
During his report to aldermen during the Board’s February 23 meeting, Town Manager Curtis Swisher provided Mayor Dawn Morgan and the aldermen with an update on a sound study commissioned by the Town.
“I met with the engineer doing the noise study last week. He went out Friday (February 18) to take the first measurements at The Brewer’s Kettle,” Swisher said. For more, see the Tuesday, March 8, 2022 edition.
