Kernersville-Donald Lloyd Peddycord, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born April 11, 1931 in Forsyth Co. to the late Paul Raymond and Vera Vance Peddycord. Donald was a member of Sedge Garden United Methodist Church and a United States Air Force Veteran having served four years during the Korean Conflict. He retired as owner operator after 42 years of service from Peddycord Equipment Inc. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmie Peddycord. Surviving are his wife, Betty Williard Peddycord; two daughters, Leah (Randy) Estep, Amy (Brian) Motsinger; son, Alan (Denise) Peddycord; grandchildren, Chad and Jeremy Motsinger, Josh and Chris Estep, Daniel Peddycord and Jill Markar; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rex Peddycord. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Cash and Pastor Karen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
