Christmas in Kernersville

This Sunday, December 6, the downtown area will see thousands of people from the Kernersville community and surrounding areas starting with the Frosty 5K, followed by the Kernersville Christmas Parade and ending with the Rotary Club’s annual Pancake Supper at Kernersville Elementary School.
Frosty 5K. The Frosty 5K Run/Walk will begin at 2 p.m. at Fourth of July Park and proceed down Mountain Street toward downtown Kernersville and back to the park, along the Christmas Parade route. Race day registration will begin at 1 p.m.
Kernersville’s Annual Christmas Parade will start at 2:30 p.m., following the Frosty 5K, on the corner of East Mountain and Hwy 66 and end at Kernersville Elementary School. There is no rain date for the parade. If the afternoon forecast is 39 degrees or colder and rain, the parade will be cancelled. Go to www.kernersvillenc.com for updates. 
Following the Christmas Parade on Sunday, individuals can continue their holiday spirit at the Kernersville Rotary Club’s annual Pancake Supper fundraiser, which is an all-you-can-eat event from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Kernersville Elementary school.
