KERNERSVILLE – Edward “Eddie” Arnold Parrish, 71, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Kernersville Medical Center. Eddie was born on March 23, 1947 in Forsyth County to the late Vernon and Frances Lemar Parrish. He attended First Christian Church in Kernersville and enjoyed being a part of the Silver Sneakers. Eddie was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He loved deep sea fishing and enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Hao Nguyen Parrish of the home; a daughter, Charlotte Lynn Carter (Brad); a son, Christopher Edward Parrish (Victoria); three grandchildren, Logan Bradley Carter, Morgan Lynn Carter, and Adelynn Rose Parrish; three sisters, Christine Johnson, Darlene Johnson, and Debbie Beasley; two brothers, Calvin Parrish, and Robert Parrish; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
