Ozment

Carolyn Staples Ozment, 66 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday August 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday August 28, 2016, 2:00pm at Main Street Methodist Church, 306 S Main Street, Kernersville, NC. Officiating will be Reverend Rick Carter. A gathering of friends will follow in the church social hall. Carolyn will be inurned next to her dear mother at 4:30pm Sunday at Mt. Gur Cemetery.
Preceded her in death was her parents, John William Staples and Ina Whitaker Staples, sister, Sally Staples Frye, Late husband Douglas Lee Donoho, Jr.
Left to cherish wonderful memories is her Husband William Floyd Ozment, Daughter, Michele Donoho of Kernersville, NC; sons Bryan Scott Donoho and wife Jessica of Greensboro, NC; Jacob Timothy Ozment of Kernersville; Brother John Edward Staples and wife Jane of Kernersville, NC; Grandchildren Christopher Lee Apperson of Waco Texas; Bethany Joy Apperson of Greensboro, NC; Mason Douglas Donoho and Michael Scott Donoho of Greensboro, NC; Great Grandchildren Jayden Malachi Apperson and Isaiah Dominic Hyatt of Greensboro.
Carolyn had a great passion for life and enjoyed weekend trips to Cherokee, beach and 60’s music, she also loved to read and work puzzles. Carolyn’s greatest passion of all though was her family and time spent with each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. So many wonderful memories were made at her pool with family and friends. Carolyn had a fondness for dogs, 2 very special dogs to her was Chester and Bailey.
Donations may be made in her honor to The American Liver Foundation or The National Kidney Foundation.
