Nursing home outbreaks

Three nursing homes and residential care facilities in Kernersville are reporting outbreaks of COVID-19, according to a new report released by the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services on Tuesday afternoon. Piney Grove Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center is reporting that two staff members have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus; however, no cases among residents were reported. Summerstone Health and Rehab Center reported that two staff members tested positive, as well as one resident, while residential care facility Bradford Village West reported that three staff members and two residents had tested positive for COVID-19.
