William “Bill” Brooks May, 90, passed away May 14, 2016.
Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00PM Tuesday May 17, 2016 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
Bill was born in Henderson, NC June 2, 1925 to the late Brady Mae Faulkner and Richard Finley May.
In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his loving wife Gertrude “Frankie” May and brother Ernest Dorsey May.
He was a WWII US Navy Veteran and retired from Pilot Freight Carriers in Kernersville following 24 years of service. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his devoted friends Larry and Carol Woods and their children Renee Webb and Anthony, Elizabeth Kline and Tim; nieces Ann May Holden and Louise May Spivey; special cousins Velvet May Satterwhite, Barbara May Dillard, Pamela Eaton, and Ed Badford.
