Lion Club benefit

The Kernersville Lions Club has announced its annual car raffle and benefit dinner event on Tuesday, April 25, with the grand prize being a brand new 2023 Chevrolet Malibu purchased from Parks Chevrolet. This event has been a Kernersville tradition for over 40 years and is open to the public. The holder of the last ticket drawn from the barrel on April 25 will be handed the keys to a brand new 2023 Chevrolet Malibu.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased for $100 each from any Lions Club member. There are no restrictions on the number of tickets an individual or business can hold. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will go towards supporting Kernersville Lions Club and its missions. Missions include annual screenings for Kernersville preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle school children for vision impairments; financial support when needed for eye care and glasses; supporting the local camp for visually impaired children; scholarships for high school students and more.
The dinner and raffle will be held on April 25 at 6pm at The Crossing Church (formerly First Christian Church) on North Main Street in Kernersville. Participants will either need to be present or have someone present who will represent their ticket at the event. Only 449 tickets will be sold.
