Thelma C. James, 88, went home to be with the Lord May 20, 2016.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Monday May 23, 2016 at Glenn View Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Gupton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church.
Thelma was the daughter of the late Wynona Weavil and David Eugene Clodfelter. She was retired as a Nursing Home Administrator. She had been a member of Glenn View Baptist Church for the past twenty years where she taught Sunday School and sang with the choir.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by thirteen siblings, and her great-grandson Adam Motsinger.
Survivors include her daughters Gale J. Motsinger and David of Winston-Salem, and Pamela J. Flynt of Kernersville; son Kevin P. James and Tammy of Kernersville; grandchildren Anita Rowell and Curt, Jason Motsinger and Shelly, Josh Flynt and January, Derrick James and Mandy, and Kaylyn James; great-grandchildren Dillon, Nathan, Emma, Jace, Carter, and Mason; sister Betsy Christianson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
