Polly Whicker Gray, 89, went home to be with the Lord July 6, 2016.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 10:00AM Saturday July 9, 2016 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Glenn Murphy officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Gur Cemetery.
A native of Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Mae Flynt and Banner Whicker. She retired from Adams-Millis Hosiery.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by son Larry Joe Gray, sister Marie, brother Flynt, and her grandson Dougie Gray.
Survivors include children Doug Gray and Chris of Colfax, Wesley Gray and Deena of Stanleyville, David Gray and Debbie of Kernersville, and Donna Hartzfield of Arizona; grandchildren Karen Gray, Brandon Gray, Brian Gray, Tyler Gray, Travis Gray, Cierra Reeves, Morgan Cleary, and Jack Cleary; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
