Financing approved

The financing of funding for several major projects and equipment purchases totaling more than $500,000 was unanimously approved by the Kernersville Board of Aldermen on Thursday afternoon.
All of the funding was previously approved by the Board in this year’s operating budget and includes $251,715 for the purchase of equipment for Town operations, as well as the police and fire departments. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, September 5 & 6, 2020 edition.
