The proposed downtown parking lot project was discussed at length at the Kernersville Board of Aldermen (BOA) meeting on April 4 at the Kernersville Municipal Council Chambers and a decision was made to move forward.
The proposed 62 space parking lot would be on North Cherry Street and would connect to the existing parking lot on North Main Street.
Mayor Dawn Morgan introduced the topic at the meeting and asked Kernersville Town Manager Curtis Swisher to “please tell us there is good news.”
“To be honest with you, we have hit a little snag,” Swisher responded. For more, see the Tuesday, April 11, 2023 edition.
