Detention order upheld

An appellate court in Washington, D.C. has rejected an appeal from a Kernersville man whose attorneys have challenged his continued pretrial detention related to charges that he helped orchestrate the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6.
In a ruling filed Monday, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia issued a judgment affirming the June 23 order by U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Kelly that Charles J.
