Mr. Jeffrey Dale Canada, 39, beloved dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and great friend, died January 26, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with melanoma. He was such a strong and loving person who never met a stranger.
Mr. Canada was born April 13, 1976 in Guilford County, a son to Dale and Glenda Canada. A resident of this area all his life, he attended Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church and had worked at Thomas Built Bus 20 years. During his time there he had wonderful friends and coworkers who were always beside him with anything he needed. The same with his gun shop buddies whom he thought the world of. He loved to collect guns, go fishing, hunting and visit the mountains and the beach.
Surviving are both his parents; his beloved children, Drue and Chloe Canada (and their mother Cheri Canada); his beloved sister, Sharon Hinkle and her husband Jon; beloved nephew, Colby Hinkle; fiancée, Wendy Hall and her children Sam and Austin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends who stood by him through it all. No more pain and no more tears…..he has an awesome new body in Heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church with Rev. Matt Mitchell and Rev. R. Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow at Abbott’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Friday at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
