Beeson Road property acquisition

Kernersville Mayor Dawn Morgan completed one of the last steps in finalizing the Town’s recent purchase of 13 acres of land on Beeson Road that sits across from the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex, off Shields Road, when she signed the plat to the property this past Friday, May 21.
The Kernersville Board of Aldermen unanimously approved initiating an offer to purchase a 13-acre tract of land on Beeson Road for $350,000 last September. Aldermen approved annexation of the property by the Town earlier this month.
According to Morgan, the plat will now be recorded with Forsyth County.
