9/11 ceremony

To honor the lives lost and in remembrance of the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Kernersville Fire Rescue Department and Kernersville Police Department, along with other members from the Town of Kernersville, are hosting a First Responders Ceremony at the Public Safety Memorial, located on the Bodenhamer Street side of Fourth of July Park. The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to last roughly 20 minutes. For more, see the Thursday, September 9, 2021 edition.
