Wilson

Aaron B. “Chick” Wilson, 87, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 18, 2015.
Wilson Family Services celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday November 21, 2015 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, officiated by Reverend Garland Glascoe and Dr. Ronald Lattier.
He was born in Iredell County on April 24, 1928 to the late Glena Ree Millsaps and James Alexander Wilson. Chick was a veteran of the Korean War, and was awarded medals of Victory and Army of Occupation-Japan. Upon his return from service he married his wife of 62 years the late Emma Smith. He worked as a truck driver for over 20 years. He started Valleydale Estates from the ground up which he owned and managed for the entirety of his life. Chick found great pleasure in farming and bulldozing. Although his greatest pleasure was taking church youth camping and enjoying the outdoors around the lake he created. He was a lifelong member of Beacon of Grace Church in Walkertown.
He is survived by his older brother Robert “Bob” Wilson and wife Norma of Kernersville.
The Wilson Family will visit with friends immediately following the service.
Family and friends may sign, and view the guestbook at www.Pierce-JeffersonFuneralService.com
