Welden rezoning approved

On Monday, Aug. 14, the Kernersville Planning
Board held their August meeting with only one item
on the agenda, the Welden Village rezoning.
With a unanimous vote from the board, the Welden
Village rezoning request was approved. The 11
additional parcels for a two-phase rezoning (voluntary
annexation already submitted) to TND-C [Traditional
Neighborhood Development – Conditional
Use District] identifying consistency with the previously
