Forsyth County public health officials reported 130 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the community since Monday. No additional deaths were reported in the county’s most recent report issued on Tuesday morning.
The death toll in Forsyth County remains at 221.
The Forsyth County Department of Public Health (FCDPH) also reported Tuesday that there have been 20,077 laboratory-confirmed cases in the county since the first cases were reported in March, with all cases among Forsyth County residents. In addition, the FCDPH reported a total of 2,947 confirmed cases over the last 14 days.
