Forsyth County public health officials reported one death and 145 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the community from Monday to Tuesday, bringing the countywide death toll to 158.
The new death was listed in the 27107 zip code, which includes parts of the Sedge Garden and Union Cross Road areas.
The Forsyth County Department of Public Health (FCDPH) reported that there have been 12,394 laboratory-confirmed cases in the county since the first cases were reported in March. In addition, the FCDPH reported a total of 2,200 confirmed cases over the last 14 days.
