Two men arrested

Two Kernersville Police Department (KPD) officers were called in to assist on a case concerning a breaking and entering in Colfax and arrested two suspects on Sunday around 1 a.m.
Deputies from the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) responded to Colfax Gun and Ammo located at 5450 W. Market Street in Colfax. Because of the proximity of the business to the Kernersville municipal boundary, Guilford County sheriff’s deputies requested officers with KPD to respond for assistance, according to a press release from the GCSO. Guilford County detectives said two KPD officers found a suspicious vehicle on Ira Drive in Colfax. Investigators stated that the vehicle accelerated and tried to drive away in the direction of the two Kernersville officers. At this point a KPD officer reportedly fired his gun.
Officials stated that no one was injured from the officer firing the gun. The KPD officers then arrested the occupants of the vehicle, Ahmodd Rasheed Brown, 21, of Greensboro, and Joshua Elisha King, 22, of Greensboro.
