Town loan

The Kernersville Board of Aldermen held a public hearing to discuss a financing contract (loan) to fund the purchase of property at 647 Beeson Road and to repay the Town for the purchase of land that occurred in the prior fiscal year at Ivey M. Redmon Park. The total loan amount that was agreed upon was $1,233,435. No one from the public spoke in favor or opposition to the financing contract at the meeting, which had all the BOA members in attendance.
