Town funding

After receiving $1,100,000 from the State, the Town of Kernersville plans to allocate the funding across different areas.
Kernersville Town Manager Curtis Swisher shared that they recently learned from Mayor Dawn Morgan during a Town of Kernersville Board of Aldermen meeting that the Town is receiving funding of $1,100,000 from the State, which was secured by NC State Senator Joyce Krawiec, who represents the 31st district, and Donny Lambeth, a Republican member of the NC House of Representatives representing the 75th district, both of whom worked together to secure the funds, which Krawiec mentioned came from different funds from the State.
