Edna Snow Tilley, 87, went home to be with the Lord May 14, 2015.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Saturday May 16, 2015 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Chapel with Dr. Stephen Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Forsyth County, Edna was the daughter of the late Sarah Allice Stack and Elijah Elise Snow. She was married to the late Cecil Everett Tilley. She retired from the former Burlington Industries/Highland Industries.
In addition to her parents and late husband, she also was preceded in death by her siblings Thelma Gray, Arnold Snow, Treva Parrish, Aaron Snow, Violet Snow, Aubrey Snow, Garlene Snow, Maynard Snow, Wylma Snow, and Vida Crutchfield.
She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Kernersville and the Dorcas Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her daughter Connie Angel and Nick of Kernersville; son Michael Tilley and Cheryl of Kernersville; granddaughter Shannon Tilley of Roanoke, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 10:00AM until time for the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
