Governor Roy Cooper announced Wednesday that educators and school staff, along with child care workers, across the state will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine beginning Wednesday, Feb. 24.
The news was welcomed by Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education member Elisabeth Motsinger, who has been one of the most vocal members of the school board about the importance of making sure teachers and other school personnel are vaccinated for students to return to in-person learning.
