Sylvia Sue Linville Stockton, 75, went home to be with the Lord May 26, 2016.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Saturday May 28, 2016 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Interment will follow in the Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
Sylvia was born in Forsyth County to the late Floy Louise Phipps and Ernest Paul Linville. She graduated from the former Kernersville High School Class of “60. Sylvia truly enjoyed life, but her true love and passion was her family, particularly her grandchildren.
She was married to the late Billy Harden Stockton, Sr. who died in 2011. In addition to husband and parents, she also was preceded in death by her sister Jenny Ferguson, and brothers Buck Linville, Jim Linville, and John Paul Linville.
Survivors include her daughters Jill Stockton Cornwell and Keith of Charlotte, and Tina Stockton Fulp and Mark of Walkertown; sons Jeff Stockton and Maria, and Billy Harden Stockton, Jr. and Jennifer all of Kernersville; brother-in-law Neal Stockton of Kernersville; and nine grandchildren Morgan, Haley, Kynley, Heather, Matthew, Camille, Nicholas, Blake, and Kimberly; sisters Joan Pardue and Lloyd, Shelby Payne, and Judy Linville; brother Dickie Linville and Kay; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
