Mayor Dawn Morgan included Kernersville in a Forsyth County stay-at-home order that went into effect at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 27. The order, which was approved by commissioners on Thursday, amends the state of emergency declaration that was issued two weeks ago in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
