High Point, NC – Mr. Brenden William Short, 15, a resident of High Point, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 15, 2005 in High Point, NC to Christopher R. Short and Julie Green Short. Brenden was always a loving son, grandson, and friend to his family and friends. He enjoyed cooking with his mom, shopping with his Grams, and playing Xbox with his friends & cousins, Jacob and Elizabeth York. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mae B. Green.
Surviving are his parents, Julie Green Short and Christopher R. Short of the home; maternal grandparents, Kay F. Green and Kathy A. Green of High Point; paternal grandparents, William C. Short and Nadine Hayes Short of Asheboro; one brother, Colton F. Seubert; friend, Claire Cox; loving animals, Mia, Ava, Jax, and Rio; and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in High Point. The family request friends to attend in casual attire. A graveside service and inurnment will follow the service in the church cemetery with Rev. Roy Cantrell officiating.
