Shooting

At approximately 5 am on Monday morning, November 7, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) deputies and officers from the Kernersville Police Department (KPD) responded to a reported shooting at the 4000 Block of Weatherton Drive in Kernersville.
Upon arrival, deputies found one individual deceased and one individual suffering from a gunshot wound outside the residence.
Police said there is no imminent danger or threat to the general public. Further confirmed information will be released when appropriate. The investigation is still ongoing.
The FCSO is the lead agency on the investigation. The KPD is an assist agency.
