Since National School Nurse’s Day was on May 11, 2022, let us delve right into some insight on this beloved profession’s daily routine.
First and foremost, daily routine is something certain school nurses have, while others let the events of the day unfold and then respond to them.
Sherri Palmes, RN, the nurse for C. Douglas Carter High School, (or as Nurse Palmes lovingly calls it, “The Carter.”) indeed has a set routine, and you had best have on your running shoes to keep up with her!
