A bill moving through the state Senate would close a loophole in new laws that increase the penalties for drivers who fail to heed a school bus stop arm. After an 11-year-old student from Kernersville was killed while crossing Old Hollow Road to board his school bus in 2012, local legislators introduced legislation in 2013 known as the Hasani N.
