The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education voted unanimously last week to hire an outside firm to assist with the search for a school superintendent to replace Dr. Don Martin, who will retire at the end of June next year. During a special meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 20, School Board members approved the hiring of N.C. School Boards Association of Raleigh, a non-profit organization that provides a variety of services to school boards, including legal, legislative, administrative, policy development and risk management, as well as nationwide superintendent search services.
