On Thursday, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized outgoing Sheriff William Schatzman for his 16 years of service as the county’s top law enforcement officer. Schatzman lost his bid for re-election on November 6. His successor, Bobby Kimbrough, Jr., will be sworn into office on Monday, Dec. 3.
