SBI agent retiring

A retirement party was held on Wednesday afternoon at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden for Kernersville’s Scott Williams, a longtime State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) agent. After 28 years working for the SBI, Williams retired as a Special Agent in Charge.
“It was really nice. The Botanical Garden was a great place to do it. A great amount of people turned out and it turned out really well. It was nice to see all those people. I did it to be able to tell all the people that came how important they were to me and my career and how blessed I was to have them in my life,” Williams said.
