The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Thursday to let voters decide whether or not they support a quarter-cent increase to the county’s sales tax in order to raise teacher supplements within the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. That means the proposal will appear on next year’s ballot during the March 20 primary elections. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, September 28 & 29, 2019 edition.
