Lois Glenn Redmon, 87, passed away Sunday October 9, 2016.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, in Walkertown, with Pastor Dan Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery.
Lois was born in Forsyth County to the late Bezzie Mabe and Boney Vaughn Glenn. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by husbands Herman Rice and Lester Redmon, an infant son Herman Rice, Jr., sister Sylvia “Sib” Smith, and great-grandsons Adam Motsinger and Dustin Clinard.
She had worked, and retired following 40 years of service at Burlington Industries.
Survivors include step-children Richard Redmon and Billie, Diane Mabe and Wayne, and Margie Howard and Pete all of Kernersville; sisters Virginia Clark, Mary Royal, and Dot Eaton and Clyde; six step-grandchildren, fifteen step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will visit with friends from 10:00AM Wednesday until time for the service at the church.
