The Kernersville Board of Aldermen unanimously approved the design plan for a new community recreation center at the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex during last week’s regular monthly meeting.
The Board first heard a presentation on the Kernersville Community Recreation Center proposal in October, with the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department (KPRD) unveiling the conceptual design for the $12.4 million facility to aldermen at that meeting.
