Marcy Rammel, 51, passed away May 17, 2016, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will take place 2:00 PM Sunday May 22, 2016 at First Christian Church of Kernersville. The Family will visit with friends starting at 1:00 PM. She will be inurned at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory at a later date.
Marcy was born in Barberton, Ohio to Shirley Keener. In her childhood she was an active member of a competitive Marching Band. She was in the 1983 graduating class at Barberton High School. She later went on to get her Master’s Degree in education from Salem College. She was a long time employee of American Express as a Manager. She was a very active member in many of the ministries at First Christian Church.
Marcy was a huge animal lover and volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary of Utah and The Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee. She loved dearly her dogs Buttons, Pebbles, and Sam.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Margie Rammel, and uncle John Rammel.
Survivors include mother Shirley Keener, daughters Heidi O’Lynn and Derrick and Ariel Bolens and Justin.
