If you want to see some really cool classic cars, don’t miss the upcoming Purple Heart benefit car show at Main Street United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 14. The show is also a great way to help honor veterans.
Hosted by the Old Salem Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the show is back after a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All proceeds will benefit the Northwest Piedmont Purple Heart Foundation in paying tribute to Purple Heart recipients, Gold Star families and families of deceased Purple Heart recipients during an honorary dinner that will be held in August at no cost to the veterans.
For more, see the Tuesday, May 10, 2022 edition.
