Piney Grove Teacher of the Year

Fighting cancer through a pandemic and continuing to teach remotely, no one is more deserving of Piney Grove Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year Award than second grade teacher Erin Harman.
“I love working with children and I love seeing them grow in those ah ha moments. When you see a kid struggling with something and then they get it and can explain it to a someone else – that’s what I love,” Harman said about why she chose to go into the teaching profession.
