Phase II openings

If all goes as planned for Gov. Cooper to move the state into Phase II on Friday, Captain Tom’s Seafood and Oyster Bar on Hwy. 66 South will be reopened for sit-down meals next Tuesday, opening the restaurant’s dining area to customers for the first time since being closed in mid-March to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Another of Kernersville’s mainstays, Outwest, also located on Hwy. 66 South, plans to open up to diners Friday evening.
“We’re going to open Friday,” said Bobby Leloudis, owner of Outwest steakhouse.
