Forsyth County officials have announced that the date to participate in a survey on how to prioritize spending opioid settlement funds has been extended to Thursday, Aug. 25. The original cutoff date was Wednesday, Aug. 10.
According to Todd Luck, communications specialist for Forsyth County, North Carolina is expected to receive $750 million over 18 years as part of a $26 billion Opioid Settlement agreement designed to remediate the impact of opioids on communities nationwide.
