Noise ordinance

The Kernersville Board of Aldermen is expected to take a final vote on strengthening the Town’s new noise ordinance during tonight’s Tuesday, Oct. 4 meeting.
The matter was back before the Board in August and September as complaints from neighbors and citations against The Brewer’s Kettle, located at 308 East Mountain Street, increased in July. The residents who live near the bar and outdoor music venue complain that the music coming from the establishment is too loud for the area, while the bar owner and management say they cannot operate under the new noise restrictions.
