Noise options

The Kernersville Board of Aldermen appear ready to raise the fine for noise violations in town, as well as enact a way to seek injunctive relief from repeat offenders following Tuesday night’s monthly meeting.
The issue was back before the Board this past week after discussion during last month’s meeting revealed that Town officials had received numerous complaints about the new ordinance. Board members also talked about repeated noise violation citations against The Brewer’s Kettle, prompting Mayor Pro Tem Bill Apple to request that the matter be put on the agenda for the September meeting.
