NF Walk

The seventh Annual Neurofibromatosis (NF) Walk in N.C. will be held at Fourth of July Park on Saturday, June 4 to raise funds and awareness for NF. The event will include a raffle, food, children’s crafts, games and more. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the walk beginning at 10 a.m.
NF is a genetic disorder that disturbs cell growth in the nervous system, causing tumors to form on nerve tissue which may develop anywhere in the nervous system. For more, see the Tuesday, May 31, 2016 edition.
