New Oak Ridge mayor

Three new people took their oath of office for the Oak Ridge Town Council and a new mayor and mayor pro tem were elected at the Oak Ridge Town Council meeting on Thursday night at Oak Ridge Town Hall. The new mayor of Oak Ridge is former Mayor Pro Tem Jim Kinneman and the new mayor pro tem is Mike Stone.
Oak Ridge is under a council management form of government with four voting Town Council members and a voting mayor. The mayor and mayor pro tem are elected at the discretion of the Town Council. For more, see the Saturday-Sunday, December 9 & 10, 2023 edition.
